The Office of Military & Veteran Success is fully invested in helping our veteran/military students and their families with the challenges of transitioning from active duty military to a welcoming, inclusive campus. We have an understanding of veteran-specific issues that impact performance and academic success and in turn, provide resources and guidance for serving the unique educational needs of veterans. The office was established in 2022 to enhance student veterans’ academic success and increase understanding and cultural challenges Veterans face. We are committed to providing veterans with opportunities that improve quality of life and lead to a successful post military career.

Florida Veterans Entrepreneurship Program

The Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship hosts the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program. This program provides honorably-discharged veterans with a free 12 week course designed to help veterans launch or scale their business.

FGCU Complete

FGCU Complete offers students who have previously earned college credits the chance to work toward a Bachelor's degree in select programs. Students fulfill degree requirements by taking a combination of on-campus, in-community and online classes, depending on their program. They are full-fledged Eagles who enjoy the same privileges as all full-time students.

FGCU Foundation Scholarship

FGCU foundation scholarships are awarded annually based on academic achievement, financial need, major of study and/or other specifications set by donors/university departments. All FGCU undergraduate & graduate student veterans are encouraged to apply. The final deadline to submit an application is May 1st, 2022 so apply today!

Home Base

Home Base of Southwest Florida’s Warrior Health & Fitness program is a FREE, 90-day program designed to help Southwest Florida Veterans—men and women—improve their physical health and well- being through supervised physical exercise, education about healthy eating, living, sleep hygiene, stress management and the health benefits of physical activity.
