Overview of FGCU Complete

FGCU Complete offers students who have previously earned college credits the chance to work toward a Bachelor's degree in select programs. Students fulfill degree requirements by taking a combination of on-campus, in-community and online classes, depending on their program. They are full-fledged Eagles who enjoy the same privileges as all full-time students.

Modern States Free College Classes

Modern States Education Alliance™ is a non-profit dedicated to making a high quality college education free of cost and accessible to any person who seeks one. It provides free college level classes to help you prepare for your CLEP or DANTES exam(s).

College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

CLEP is a set of exams that allow students who are pursuing a degree in higher education to demonstrate mastery of introductory college-level material and to earn college credit.

Prior Learning Assessment

FGCU launched Prior Learning Assessment where students can see if their experiences align with FGCU course(s) to earn college credit towards your degree in place of required course(s). Take a predictor quiz to see if this is the right option for you.

DANTES Subject Standardized Test (DSST)

DSST exams are college subject tests that you can take to earn college credit for knowledge you acquired outside of a traditional classroom.

Is FGCU Complete for me?

FGCU Complete students take the same coursework as traditional FGCU students working towards the same degrees, but at times and locations more convenient for those who don't have the flexibility of full-time students. The program is ideal for candidates who work full-time or are otherwise unable to attend traditional university classes and events due to other obligations. Find out if this is for you!

Ready to apply as a degree-seeking student? Start your application. Paper applications may be required to meet enrollment deadlines.

Financial Aid

Tuition is the same as FGCU's regular in-state fees. Students can apply to the university's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for funding assistance.
